Thanks to all of you who stopped by yesterday at the Wellesley Marketplace and said hi. It was a fun, busy and successful day. My boy was my big helper and organized my little booth.

Bestseller was definitely this print. Send me an email if you are interested in a copy. There are only few left. And the original found a good place, too.

Thanks for all your support. I am wiped today and will post more soon!  Wishing you a lovely Sunday!

Please join me this Saturday, November 17th for my 2. time at the Wellesley Marketplace.

It’s at the Wellesley Middle School and is open from 9-4!Image

I have many new Prints, Cards and Originals. Please stop by and say hi!

Happy first day of November, everyone.

I am kind of glad that October is over. My little one has been sick with pneumonia for the last 2 weeks now. And the crazy storm last week didn’t make it any better. We were lucky and survived without a scratch, but my heart goes out for the many people who are struggeling right now. Does anyone really doubt that global warming is happening?

Obviously, we have been spending a lot of time indoors.  Playing loads of games and being creative.

….we  dared to go out tricker-or-treating. At least for a little bit.

AND in between caring for my boy, preparing and hiding from a storm, glueing on some fake eyelashes and celebrating Halloween, I am getting ready for two shows.

A big package of cards arrived the other day and they are waiting to be organized and packaged.

Next thursday, November 8th from 6:30 to 9 pm I will be part of a Trunk Show at  Laughing Dog Yoga in Wellesley. Donna, the lovely owner of the shop at LDY invited me last minute and I am super excited to be there.

There  is a little more info on the official flyer below. I am not on it, because I joined so last minute. But I will be there in person, with new prints and cards. And I hope you can join me!

The shop is such a gem in our neighborhood!  Satya jewelry will be featured that night, so I am pretty sure that you will find something beautiful!

Today, I took a beautiful indian summer run/walk at a nearby lake and came by this beautiful scene. The perfect place to sit and listen to the leafs fall.Image

To live in this world

you must be able to do three things

to love what is mortal:

to hold it

against your bones knowing

your own life depends on it;

and when the time comes to let it go,

to let it go

                                                                                                      -mary oliver

I made a mixed tape to go with it. Hope you enjoy it.

A lot is happening in the studio. I am preparing for another round at the Wellesely Market Place and a Trunk Show at Laughing Dog Yoga. Details are soon to come. I am also working on a commission and am collaborating on a project with my BFF. Here’s another little painting that I did in between projects. Reminiscing about the stargazing nights during summer. Make a wish!

Oh, this was a much longer pause than anticipated. But our summer was filled to the brim with fun and adventure and i’ve spent a lot of time with my boys swimming, hiking, playing and enjoying. I love their ages right now so much and wish I could  freeze this time forever. <Sigh>

Alas, there’s no denying, fall is here and it’s beautiful as ever in New England. The routines are back, so I am able to spend more time in the studio. I am working on a couple of new exciting projects and am getting ready for another time at Wellesley Marketplace in November.

Here my latest little painting: Wonderland

In case you wondered, I am writing this post from the beautiful islands of Hawaii. Not much painting has been done but loads and loads of pictures are taken. I don’t even know where to begin to edit and to share. ( I might have to leave this for home anyways and rather go for a swim). But here is a random sample of what’s been inspiring my heart!

Sending you loads of aloha and mahalo for reading!

a couple of weeks ago I received another commission. this time it was for a little girl with a big love for lions and the color purple. what a sweet challenge. since i don’t paint lions all too often I sat down sketching out  a few samples. my little boy observed my attempts and kindly enough shared his expertise ( i just love it when my kids get involved)

here is his version:Image

i took his advice and came up with this:

now the painting is making it’s way to the little girl. are you interested in a commission? email me with your questions and ideas! i’d love to hear from you!
